ACE is een internationaal erkend onderzoeksnetwerk met een eigen herkenbaar onderzoeksprogramma naar de factoren die succesvol ondernemerschap bepalen, incluis de (institutionele) factoren die de ontwikkeling van succesvol ondernemerschap tegenhouden. Het wetenschappelijk onderzoek staat onder leiding van prof. dr. Mirjam van Praag, wetenschappelijk directeur van ACE.
